I had a brand new unwanted gift – APPELLA’s Slimmest Gold Watch and would like to know where is the best place I could sell it off. Besides, I also have MONTBLANC’s Star Walker Double Ball Point pens, Meisterstuck Wallets 6cc, & Business Card Holders need to seek for buyers also.

Montblanc Metal watch strap too loose (Mont Blanc watch)?

I cannot seem to get the metal band to tighten enough to not be loose on my wrist, does anyone have a quick fix for this or solution? The dealer was of no help in returning my call, any help is appreciated!

The best thing to do is take it a jeweler’s store and have them take links out. I would not recommend trying to fix it yourself because it really is very nice and you might ruin it. It is usually not expensive to get links taken out and most of the time they can do it while you wait. The end result is a beautiful watch that fits you perfectly, so it is worth it!

I have an Omega Seamaster GMT that I got a good 4 years ago now. I love it, its been dead accurate for me day in and day out as an every day watch that I wear to the office and everywhere else. I was wondering from actual watch collectors what watches were preferred for quality, durability, accuracy and overall value. I have included a list of brands I have come across through my friends, business associates, ect. If you could rank these watches I’d be interested in your thoughts and feel free to add a brand that I have missed if you feel it is nessisary.

most of those are very expensive. i like fossil watches, they are like $ 50-150 but they are tough and there are alot of them. some are fun and some are serious.

I am thinking about buying this watch from a person whom claims the watch he has on hand is brand new. I was thinking about buying this watch from my local boutique back in Fall of 2007 when this watch suppossedly was first released. It had a delayed release except for the big stores like in NY but by the time the watch finally came out later in 2008 my local store had closed. The guy Im talking with right now claims his watch has a warranty date stamped back in spring of 2005? Is his book wrong or did they really make this model back then?

Hi, I currently own a montblanc timepiece. I don’t have the original box for it, lost it somewhere. I have searched the internet for any used ones on sale, and came up with nothing. Have not tried the boutiques as i’m pretty sure they don’t have extras. Anyone know where I can find a box? I found one on ebay but its from hong kong, not sure how safe that is to order.

Its a rare watch and the box will be hard to find, you may be able to order a replica online but it would be nearly impossible to find the original box.

It appears to retail at about $ 2500USD. This looks about right compared to some other annuals I looked at in my library.

As always, virtually all swiss watch manufacturers will not honor a warranty for any piece purchased online. Get yours from an authorized retailer.

It says 963g on the back and 3ATM water resistant on it. The face says Swiss made as well as the back. And it obviously says Mont Blanc. How can I find out if it’s real or how to find out how much it’s worth?

Mont Blancs are low-mid end luxury watches, and as such, go for anywhere between $ 500 to $ 5,000 (on average). Some may go for less, a few for more (special editions etc). Unfortunately, this also means that they are very highly pirated — so, there’s a good chance that like a Rolex, your Mont Blanc could be an original, or a fake.

You should take it to a jeweler who should be able to tell you if a watch is original or not. Depending on where you live, you could also look for an Authorized Dealer (or an AD) and take the watch to them. They may be able to help you.

However, I would not leave the watch behind with an AD if they ask you to. The reason being that if your watch is indeed fake, they may sometimes destroy the watch since it is an unauthorized replica.
